Learning Objective 4:

Trainees will evaluate peers’ team action plans achieving comprehensive roadmaps as described by the  rubric provided.

The two learning activities included for learning objective 4 support the highest levels of knowledge conceptualization- namely the evaluation of each other’s work via online web conferencing debate and online surveying. Leadership participants are to build online surveys completed by their cross-teams that correctly assess the objectivity, usefulness and relevance of the action plan wikis created by the survey originator in the previously. Evaluation will be directed in two ways: first, the LDTs need to be able to evaluate the key elements of the team action plans to successfully build a survey form; secondly, the LDTs will engage in active evaluation of each other’s work- first by debate Q&As then by completing the surveys sent to them by peers. As a result of these activities, learners develop deep, long lasting understanding of the key structural elements, benefits and uses of action plans used in managing their teams.

Assessment 4 Process:               Cross Team Evaluation Survey

The Cross Team Evaluation Survey utilized as the assessment tool for learning objective 4 activities, judges the LDTs understanding of key elements of a well built, effective team action plan. The assessment activates deep level evaluation skills twice- upon building a professional, targeted online survey that correctly appraises the validity and quality of the action plan and also upon filling out the evaluation surveys sent by the peer cross-teams. The rubric provided looks at survey design, delivery and relevance analysis, assuring a comprehensive assessment of the skills developed. Graded as exemplary, satisfactory or beginning level, LDTs are provided feedback on the quality of the surveys they produced in correlation with evaluation a real-life team roadmap utilized in the corporate setting, as well as its versatility, authenticity, ease of use and response analysis.
